Guides are girls aged approx 10-14 years old. They participate in weekly meetings of around two hours during term time. Guides work in small groups called Patrols within their Unit. Each patrol has a girl as a Leader. Guides work with their adult leaders to choose, plan and run their own activities.

Guides in the ACT & SE NSW Region:

  • Go camping – locally and interstate
  • Hold a scavenger hunt at their local shops
  • Hold a car wash to raise funds for a local charity
  • Carry Banners at ANZAC DAY service
  • Go geocaching
  • Work towards badges and challenges including the Junior BP and BP awards
